Ahmed Jlassi

Réalisateur, monteur, photographe et chercheur tunisien.
Diplômé des Beaux-arts, Ahmed Jlassi a côtoyé le milieu du cinéma au sein de la dans la FédérationTunsienne des Cinéastes Amateurs (FTCA). Il a été le monteur de plusieurs générations de cinéastes issus de la fédération. Il pratique et enseigne la photographie. Parallèlement, il prépare une thèse de Doctorat sur les « représentations de l’occident dans le cinéma tunisien ». « Emirs au pays des merveilles » (2012, Doc) est son premier long-métrage.
Son court métrage Trinou (Train) a reçu le Prix de la Meilleure Image au Festival de film amateur de Kélibia 2006 (Tunisie).

Awarded a diploma to Fine arts (School of Fine Arts) in 2003, Ahmed Jlassi went alongside to the environment of the cinema from the beginning of 2000s, through a big implication in the sphere of influence of the amateur cinema, the only pool of training of future film-makers and technicians for the cinema in that period. His interest for the editing will make of him very fast the official editor of several generations of young film-makers stemming from the Tunisian Federation of film-makers (FTCA). Ahmed Jlassi pursues an academic course with a doctoral thesis on the « representations of the West in the Tunisian cinema ».

يعدّ « أمراء في بلد العجائب « تتويجا لمسيرة أحمد الجلاصي التي انتهت به إلى السينما الوثائقية. وهو متخرج من المعهد العالي للفنون الجميلة بتونس سنة 2003 و من خلال انخراطه في الوسط السينمائي منذ السنوات 2000 و مساهمته في أنشطة الجامعة التونسية للسنمائيين الهواة – المخبر الوحيد لتأطير السينمائيين الشبان في ذلك الوقت – أصبح مركب الأفلام المعتمد لأجيال عديدة من المخرجين و التقنيين. وقد وجّه تكوينه في الفنون التشكيلية اهتمامه نحو التأطير و الإضاءة و الفوتوغرافيا التي جعل منها مجال اختصاصه بحثا و تدريسا و تنظيرا منذ عشر سنوات. وبالتوازي مع مسيرته الفنية يشتغل أحمد الجلاصي على أطروحة دكتوراه موضوعها
