Fany de la Chica

Elle a commencé sa carrière à Barcelone, où elle a étudié la Direction de la Photographie au Centre d'Etudes Cinématographiques de Catalogne, et où elle a réalisé son premier film documentaire ROUND TRIP. A Londres, elle a travaillé chez Future Films tout en terminant ses études en Master Documentary Practice au Royal Holloway University. C'est là où elle a reçu le prestigieux One World Media funding pour le film RATITA: un documentaire sur le Cambodge qui est enncore en post-production à la mi 2011. Son second documentaire cinémas ONE DAY IN SMARA a été sélectionné en 2011 pour le LIDF (Festival de films documentaires de Londres) et a remporté un prix au Social Film Festival of Concordia.

She started her career in Barcelona, where she studied Photography Direction in the Centre of Cinematographic Studies of Catalonia, and where she directed her first documentary film "Round Trip". In London she was working in Future Films whilst finishing her studies in MA Documentary Practice at Royal Holloway University. Here she received the prestigious One World Media funding for the film RATITA: a documentary in Cambodia that is still in post-production. Her second documentary film ONE DAY IN SMARA has been selected in 2011 for the LIDF (London) and has won an award in the Social Film Festival of Concordia.

Fany De La Chica, Kariyerine Barselona'da başladı, eğitimini burada, Katalonya Sinematografik Çalışmalar Merkezi'nde Görüntü Yönetmenliği dalında yaptı ve ilk belgesel filmi "Round Trip"i de burada çekti. Yönetmen, Kraliyet Holloway Üniversitesi'nde Belgesel Uygulama bölümündeki yüksek lisans çalışmasını yaparken, bir yandan da Future Films'de çalışıyor. Burada "Ratita" filmi için One World Media adlı önemli bir fonu kazandı: Kamboçya'da geçen bu belgesel halen post-prodüksiyon aşamasında. İkinci belgesel filmi "Smara'da Bir Gün" bu yıl LIDF'e seçildi ve Concordia Toplumsal Film Festivali'nde ödül aldı.
