Réalisateur franco-algérien.

Neil Beloufa est né en 1985 à Paris (France). Il a étudié à l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) et à l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) de Paris. Il fait partie de la promotion 2010 promotion du Fresnoy – Studio National pour les Arts Contemporains.

Étudiant aux Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) et aux Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) de Paris, Neil Beloufa a fait un échange universitaire aux États-Unis.
Ses travaux utilisent principalement vidéo, sculpture et installation.
Il est le fils du cinéaste algérien Farouk Beloufa.

French-Algerian filmmaker and Visual artist.


Born in Paris in 1985. He studied at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, both in Paris; at California Institute of the Arts in Valencia; Cooper Union in New York; and at Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains in Tourcoing, France. Neïl Beloufa lives in Paris and New York, where he works as an artist and director. His works have been displayed in museums, galleries, and art exhibitions around the world.


Neil Beloufa was born in 1985 in Paris (France). He studied at the Ecole Nationale Sup̩rieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) and the Ecole Nationale Sup̩rieure des Arts D̩coratifs (ENSAD) in Paris, and is currently a member of the 2010 promotion of Le Fresnoy РNational Studio for Contemporary Arts. He received several awards, notably the Prix Videoforme of Clermont Ferrand 2009, the Grand Prix IndieLisboa 2009 and the ARTE prize for a European Short Film at the 54th Oberhausen Film Festival. His work was shown in four solo exhibitions in Frankfurt, Los Angeles, Paris and New York, and selected for several group exhibitions and projects since 2007 (12th Biennial of Moving Images in Geneva, Prague International Triennial, Momenta Art Brooklyn, the Netherlands Media Art Institute in Amsterdam, Espace Crois̩ in Roubaix, Beaux Arts of Marseille). His films were screened in international festivals for video and documentary.
He lives in Paris. He is the son of Farouk Beloufa, Algerian filmmaker.
