Michelangelo Severgnini

Né à Crema (Italie), en 1974, Michelangelo Severgnini a fini son premier film documentaire, The Return of Aarch: The Villages of Kabilia Shake, Algérie, en 2002. En 2004 il tourne son second film, ?And the Tigris Placid Flows?: Portraits from Occupied Baghdad, qui lui vaut plusieurs prix dans des festivals italiens de cinéma. Le film était accompagné d'un livre. Depuis 2004, il travaille sur le programme de la télé italienne Cosi' è la vita, sur la société italienne. Ist'imariyah est son troisième film indépendant. Il vit à Rome mais il est souvent sur les routes.

In 2004 he shot his second film, ?And the Tigris Placid Flows?: Portraits from Occupied Baghdad, earning Severgnini several awards at Italian film festivals. The film was accompanied by a book. Since 2004, he has worked on the Italian TV program Cosi' è la vita, about Italian society. Ist'imariyah is his third independent film. He lives in Rome but more often roams on the road.
