Abdelkrim, dit Krimo, quinze ans, vit dans une cité HLM de la banlieue parisienne. Il partage avec sa mère, employée dans un supermarché, et son père, en prison, un grand rêve fragile : partir sur un voilier au bout du monde.
En attendant, il traîne son ennui dans un quotidien banal de cité, en compagnie de son meilleur ami, Eric, et de leur bande de copains. C’est le printemps et Krimo tombe sous le charme de sa copine de classe Lydia, une pipelette vive et malicieuse…

Una urbanización de viviendas protegidas en el extrarradio de París. Lydia está ensayando una obra de Marivaux montada para la fiesta de fin de curso. Abdelkrim, alias « Krimo », queda prendado de su compañera de clase. Pero Krimo no es de muchas palabras y además tiene que defender su reputación: ¿cómo podría declararse a la chica sin hacer el ridículo? No hay más que una solución: convencer a su amigo Rachid, que actúa con Lydia, para que le ceda el papel de Arlequín. Así, con las palabras de Marivaux, podrá expresar sus sentimientos.

Synopsis
A subsidised housing estate in the Parisian suburbs. Lydia is rehearsing for a play by Marivaux scheduled for the end-of-year bash. Abdelkrim, alias « Krimo », is captivated by his classmate. But apart from not being a man of many words, Krimo also has a reputation to maintain: how can he tell the girl his feelings without making a fool of himself? There’s only one answer: to convince his friend Rachid, who’s acting with Lydia, to let him play the part of the Harlequin. That way he’ll be able to use Marivaux’ words to express his feelings.
