Kurc est un jeune paumé qui parcourt le monde pour se découvrir. Après un voyage d'un an et demi en Australie, Mariusz Kurc rentre chez lui. Le film décrit les changements survenu dans le personnage principal et la réalité qui l'absorbe peu à peu. Il a quitté la Pologne avec seulement 40 dollars et un appareil photo numérique en poche. Il décide de ne pas retourner auprès de sa mère et de sa petite amie. Ce film dresse le portrait évocateur d'un homme qui retourne sur ses pas pour affronter la réalité qu'il a fui. Kurc comprend des images de son périple entre autres en Afghanistan, en Iran, en Russie et en Chine.

Kurc is a modern nigh, who travels the world to know himself. After a journey of one and a half year to Australia, Mariusz Kurc returns home. The film portrays the changes within the main character and the reality absorbing him. He left Poland with and a digital camera. He decided not to go back to his mother and girlfriend. The film creates a suggestive portrayal of a man, to return to confront the reality he escaped from. Kurc contains footage from his travels to Afghanistan, Iran, Russia and China amongst others.
