synopsis
Thoufa, danseuse de cabaret et mère d’une petite fille est condamnée à perpétuité pour avoir tué son mari. Malika, interprète, accompagne une jeune avocate, militante des droits de l’homme, venue de France pour enquêter sur l’affaire Touhfa. A travers les histoires de Malika et Touhfa, malgré leur statut différent, la condition de la femme marocaine subissant la pression socio-culturelle est mise en relief.

synopsis
Thoufa, a cabaret dancer and mother of a little girl is charged with the murder of her husband and jaieled for life. Malika, an interpreter accompanies a young female lawyer and a human rights militant who has arrived from france to investigate the Touhfa case. Through the story of Touhfa and Malika, and desptie the difference in statute, the condition of Moroccan women who live under great socio-cultural pressure is emphasized.
