Réal : Adaora Nwandu
[ english ]
Raymond and Tagbo met when they were eight years old. Although from different backgrounds they became so close everyone called them by one name - RagTag. Separated in their teens, they meet up again ten years later aged twenty-three, when Tag is just finishing law school and discovering how hard it is to find chambers that will take a young black man, despite his first class degree. Rag, however, neither has a university education, nor good prospects. But for Rag he's just happy to be with Tag again.
Then Rag and Tag are invited to Nigeria by Tag's friend Ikeora for his Chieftaincy ceremony. Rag soon discovers that his friend is into'419' international fraud, and is soliciting Tag's assistance in his latest scam. In the midst of lush village life Ikeora and Rag end up in a confrontation over Tag. But this is only the beginning of a dramatic sequence of events that put the two men in an ever worsening situation with their family, friends and most of all - each other. In this tale of family, friendship and forbidden love, everyone has to find a definition of what these things mean to them. Then stake their lives on it. Rag Tag. Love isn't just black and white
