Dubaï, aujourd'hui. Un jeune Arabe de la classe aisée est en conflit avec son identité culturelle et avec un ami moins fortuné, mais plus futé que lui. Un chauffeur de taxi d'origine indienne doit composer avec le fait qu'il ressemble à s'y méprendre à une grande vedette de Bollywood. Et finalement, une ancienne ballerine roumaine qui travaille maintenant comme hôtesse de l'air cherche l'amour et la chaleur humaine. Les routes que vont prendre ces individus finissent par s'entrechoquer pour le meilleur ou pour le pire.
