The Rwanda Christian Film Festival is held annually, in November, in Kigali, Rwanda.  Presented by True Way Entertainment, an organization that aims to promote Rwanda’s film industry, the Rwanda Christian Film Festival aims to bring films to as large of an audience as possible. Films are therefore screened not only in the capital of Kigali, but are also shown on large inflatable screens in rural areas throughout the country. the festival will make a move away from its focus on youth to begin exploring a number of social issues experienced in Rwanda today.

The festival also features intensive film making workshops that aim to build the capacity of filmmakers and prepare them for successful careers in film making.

The film festival rewards selected filmmakers in a number of national and international categories.

 Core objectives

The core objectives of the festival are to see more content showcasing Christian values on television and in theaters. The festival aims to emphasize how the power of storytelling can impact people’s lives or even shape a culture. Therefore, the festival’s goal is to make a positive impact in the entertainment world and to empower Christian filmmakers to advance in their skills and careers.
