Anthony Okello’s exhibitions are always eagerly awaited and this one is no exception. It comprises new oil paintings along with a series he has been working on with his brother, Peter Walala. Anthony paints his mythological figures in oil paint on a background of Peter’s patchwork of clothes labels which have been painstakingly sewn together.

First seen at the Manjano Festival, one of these works won first prize.
