Nairobi Nocturnes is a series of atmospheric, figurative paintings by current Kuona Trust artist in residence, Stavros Pavlides.



About

The paintings present various open-ended narratives using Nairobi city by night as muse. Prompted initially by Nairobi’s ominous night-time reputation, Stavros Pavlides wishes to examine, interpret, and comment on perceptions of the city through the highly subjective ‘lens’ of painting.
