Mashariki African Film Festival 2015

Mashariki African Film festival 2015 is a liaison of all east African film festivals in Rwanda, offering screenings of regional movies all across the country, and for six days !



The festival named Mashariki African Film festival is Rwandan film festival that represents the country in East African countries (EAFN). It is in this framework that Mashariki is organizing training to all Rwandan filmmakers in order to mitigate the skills gaps in film industry.

The training will be taking place every year and will be a liaison of all East African film festivals in Rwanda. The festival will also promote and advocate for other local festivals and film coalition in Rwanda and different member states of the east African community.

The festival will also provide master classes for workshops and trainings for local filmmakers in the region and abroad.

14th March: The closing ceremony wil take place at Kigali City Tower.
