Karibu to the first Moto of 2015! As a special celebration we will be showing the award winning Tanzanian film Samaki Mchangani! As usual, anyone attending can also share work so bring whatever you're working on, short stories, poems, novels, all is welcome (if you'd like to distribute anything for people to read before the meeting, just drop us a message) – and as always, Swahili and/or English are equally encouraged.

‘Moto’ itakuwa siku ya Jumatano 28 Januari saa moja usiku. Mkutano utafanyika Maktaba ya T.B (Indo-Tanzania Cultural Centre) iliyopo kona ya mtaa wa kisutu na Mrima (mkabala na Snoopy’s). Unaweza kupaona kwenye ramani: https://maps.google.com/
'Moto’ will be held on Wednesday 28 January at 7pm. The event will take place at the T.B. Sheth Public Library (Indo-Tanzania Cultural Centre). The library is located on the corner of Kisutu Street and Mrima Street (opposite Snoopy’s). The location of the event can be seen on the map:https://maps.google.com/
Jukwaa hili ni bure na huru kwa yeyote ambae ni mwandishi au mwenye nia ya kuwa mwandishi na tunatarajia ushiriki wako bila kuangalia uzoefu wako kama mwandishi. Katika moto uko huru kuzungumza au kuandika katika kiswahili au kiingereza. Hatuna lugha rasmi kati ya hizo.
The event is free and open to anyone who is a writer and participation of all is encouraged regardless of experience. Moto is open to writers and speakers of Swahili or English and both languages are equally encouraged.
