Elle est née en 1972 à Gabès, en Tunisie.
Elle fait ses études à l’Institut Supérieur des Beaux Arts de Tunis où elle se spécialise en dessin graphique et elle poursuit sa formation d’abord à Montréal (mastère en documentaire), puis à l’Institut Français de Coopération dirigé par la FEMIS, et pour finir, en Belgique, où elle suit un mastère en montage. Le rendez-vous, sa première ?uvre de fiction, a été sélectionnée Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage en 2006 et au FESPACO 2007.
En décembre 2009, elle tourne entre La Masra et la gare de Tunis LE DERNIER WAGON (26 min), son second court métrage de fiction.

She studied at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts of Tunis, specializing in graphic design and then continued her training first in Montreal (master in documentary-making), then at the French Institute of Cooperation directed by the FEMIS and lastly at the INSAS in Belgium, where she takes another master’s degree in film editing. Le rendez-vous, her first fiction film, was selected for the Journées Cinématographiques de Carthage in 2006 and for FESPACO 2007.
LE DERNIER WAGON (26 min), produced in 2009 is her second short.
